About WikiTablet

WikiTablet is a growing catalogue of tablets listed at the store, from small reading slates and kids' models to large screens sold with a keyboard cover. For each one we show the facts its seller put in the listing and a price with the time we read it.

Facts come from the seller

Screen size, storage, memory, the operating system and whether a keyboard or stylus is in the box are taken from the title and bullets the seller wrote. When a listing says nothing about one of those, the cell is left blank instead of being filled from another listing or a guess about the chip. Where two sellers quote a size in different units we do not rewrite either of them.

We have not used any of these

Not one tablet here has been unboxed on our desk, charged for a week, dropped or handed to a child. That is why you will find no battery-life results, no verdicts about screen quality and no list ordered by how fast an app opens. Software support, repair and how a model ages are matters for the maker's own pages and for owners.

A price and the minute it was read

Each amount was taken from the store and is shown with its reading time. If it is too stale to rely on, it is removed, because an old price that looks current does more harm than a missing one.

Guides and Learn

The guides compare tablets on listed specifications and price only. In the Learn section we explain words like refresh rate, nits or sideloading with help from maker and standards pages, and the front page states how many tablets this site covers.
